The Icelandic Lutheran Mission was founded in 1929 and seeks to share Jesus Christ to all nations. ILM missionaries have also been active in supporting the poor, the vulnerable and the sick. ILM is currently involved directly in Kenya and East-Asia and indirectly in numerous other countries through financial support. ILM’s work consists mostly of teaching, medical care, training , supporting the local churches, and the building of schools and churches. There are a number of active groups in Iceland that support the work of ILM through prayer and financial contributions.
